The Council officers consist of a President, Vice President, Treasurer, and Secretary. Each officer must come from a different society and are elected annually. Each member society appoints a representative and an alternate to the Council. On matters of Business, each society is allowed one vote. Past Presidents who remain active with the Council are granted the title of Honorary President. They cannot vote unless they are also a society representative. The programs of the PEC are executed through the efforts of various standing and special committees and appointments. These are described below.
